Why DDK
Stop building plumbing.
Start building value.
DDK is the reference airframe for the Rogue Cortex experience in the air.
Modular, openly extensible, and shipping with the SDK, apps and services pre-integrated,
so your team can prototype real flight-based solutions on day one instead of spending countless months wiring up flight controllers, video pipelines, and radios.
At a glance
Arms fold down for transport and storage, and lock in place for flight.
Usable payload capacity — gimbals, lidar, thermal, or a custom bay.
Typical flight time on a full pack.
H7-class autopilot running ArduPilot.
Onboard companion computer for perception and decisioning at the edge.
Ships with the Rogue Cortex SDK, all Rogue services, and full access to the developer program.
Foldable by design
Folds small. Changes shape.
The DDK's arms fold in against the frame for a compact footprint that's easy to carry, store and ship. The folding mechanism is deliberately simple, and that simplicity is what makes the arms yours to rework: lock them fixed, fit longer ones, go shorter for tight spaces, or design your own. Like everything on the DDK, the airframe is a starting point, not a constraint.
Modular by design
Swap, prototype, ship.
The DDK frame is built to be opened up. Its open, machined plates are lined with mounting points, so new hardware bolts straight on without a redesign. Add a sensor, fit a mod, try an augment or go all-in on a hack, and fly it the same day. The SDK auto-discovers attached hardware, so your code targets capabilities, not part numbers.
SDK-native
One developer surface. Every behavior.
Placeholder — DDK ships with the Rogue Cortex SDK pre-integrated. Perception, decisioning, mission scripting, and data egress all live behind the same APIs you'd use on any supported Rogue Cortex platform. Code written against DDK ports to ground robots, fixed sensors, and partner drones without rewrites.
Built for builders
Documentation, samples, support.
Placeholder — DDK owners get full access to the Rogue Cortex developer program: rich documentation, working sample code, hardware revision notes, and early access to new SDK features and partner integrations. Your engineers don't have to reverse-engineer anything.
